Northwood Caravan & Holiday Park is a small adults only , family run site set in the heart of the Ribble Valley , the official Centre of the Kingdom ! We are an excellent base to explore the scenic surrounding area and everything it offers . Northwood started 15 years ago as a Camping & Caravanning Club Certificated Site . We have extended , improved and developed our small holiday park into a beautiful place to stay .
Holidays and weekends away are for relaxing and enjoying ourselves and with that in mind we can offer you a tranquil rural setting , in harmony with nature but with the advantage of being a 10 minute drive from the M6 motorway.
Wonderful views over Longridge Fell are a lovely sight when you wake up in the morning . Roe deer , pheasants , rabbits and even a heron are also regular visitors .We will do our utmost to ensure you have an enjoyable stay and look forward to welcoming you !
Northwood Caravan & Holiday Park has 28 level hardstanding pitches suitable for caravans, trailer tents & motorhomes all with electric hook up .
All our pitches are set in landscaped sheltered grounds with views over Longridge Fell . Each unit is no more than 3 m away from water , which is on a service bollard also providing electric.

We have just installed a new luxury shower/ amenities building with disabled facilities . A utility room for dishwashing and a separate sink for clothes washing are now available .
Northwood Caravan & Holiday Park offers an ideal base to explore the delights of the Ribble Valley . A significant part of it is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty which is a perfect destination to enjoy fabulous scenery and the fantastic outdoors . Excellent walks can be taken directly from the park , down past the River Ribble and into Roman Ribchester .
The South Lakes , Dales and the coast including the bright lights of Blackpool and the charming Lytham and St Anne’s are less than a 45 minute drive away.
The area is area is a real foodie haven , 2 fabulous restaurants are a 3 minute walk , several excellent restaurants are a 5 minute drive away there is even a Michelin Starred establishment , if you wanted a real treat !
Northwood is a 3 minute walk from a bus stop.
2.4 miles to the train station which has direct routes to Blackburn Clitheroe and Manchester.
Northwood is a 15 minute drive from Blackburn and Clitheroe and 20 minutes from Preston.
We are junction 31 off the M6 motorway situated on the A 59 Clitheroe road .
